Hi friends! God’s Word teaches us to live out our faith in every area of life. That includes civic engagement. For far too long we have allowed those who hold very different views of life to run our country and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Let’s take clear action to seek the welfare of our cities, states and nation so we may partake and enjoy that welfare! (Jeremiah 29:7) It is a Biblical principle to fight for righteousness!

There are lots of ways to do that, and many opportunities. The Family Research Council, led by strong Christian leader, Tony Perkins, makes it easy! Here is a current call to action and a way to communicate your values to your elected officials…and it takes only seconds!

Whether in this way or some other way, please engage by making your values known. Take every opportunity to voice your values to those we elected to represent us, especially those who do not hold your values. They all need to hear from us!

Right now, both chambers of Congress are hard at work as they attempt to push some of the year’s most consequential bills through the legislative process—the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and twelve appropriations bills to fund the federal government. These bills play a central role in determining how Americans’ taxpayer dollars are spent by the U.S. government and by the military—both for good and for bad. With the Biden administration in the White House, pro-family values are under attack in both the federal government and military training and operations.

Thankfully, House Republicans have put forth strong legislation that pushes back against the Biden administration’s attacks on the family.
