Hi Friends! With the trip just around the corner, I’m watching the weather closely. Several have asked, “What’s the weather like in Israel?” Well, though the nation of Israel is very small, the weather varies considerably depending upon location. We fly into Tel Aviv, where the forecast is 64 degrees on arrival day. We’ll spend the next 3-4 days in the Galilee area, where temperatures are reaching into the low-70’s. Jerusalem is typically one of the cooler spots, and forecasts are in the mid-60’s when we arrive there. With only very few chances of rain, we’re anticipating great touring weather!
The real challenge may be our connecting flight out of Philadelphia! As you know, the weather on the east coast has been severe this winter. The forecast for Philadelphia on the day we arrive/depart is 33 degrees and clear. Praise God for the “clear” part, but let’s hope the chance of snow on the previous day does not wreak havoc! Will you join me in praying for safe travel and a smooth connection through Philadelphia? Pray also for the health of the 85 of us who are going. Nothing puts a damper on a tour more than people sharing germs!
Are you enjoying learning fascinating things about Israel? That is my hope, as I try to include you on a virtual trip to the Holy Land! Today’s video (see link below) is perhaps my favorite of the five. I am absolutely amazed at the creative genius that benefits the entire world of medicine.
