Israel is God’s chosen land and His fingerprint is all over it!  I’ll let pictures tell most of the story today.

Farm land in the Jezreel Valley is lush and prosperous.  The soil is rich and pictures do no justice to the vibrancy of the land.  

 

Israel is a world leader in agricultural technology.  They are the absolute best at getting the most out of the limited land space they have.  It is common to see rows of plants covered by biodegradable mesh that keeps moisture in and bugs out, bananas hanging in blue bags that do the same, and groves of trees growing under a single covering of that material.  Check out the bananas in blue bags below.

 

The produce taken from these fields is unbelievable!  We saw heads of lettuce the size of basketballs and pomegranates larger than you can imagine!  Colors are incredibly vibrant!

What does it look like when served?  It looks like this….

…and it is absolutely delicious!

You don’t see produce like this anywhere else in the region…or in the world, for that matter.  Sure, God has given Israelis incredible agricultural knowledge.  But even beyond that, God’s hand of blessing is very obvious.

When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you.  ~Deut 8:10
